中華文化源遠流長，近十年來，兩岸三地文化頻繁、積極交流，產生前所未有的變化與成效，廣大中華兒女深以為傲。海外華裔僑胞為珍惜兩岸三地得之不易的偉大成就，願擕手努力，將博大精深的中華文化發揚光大，並共同建設中華民族富強康樂的美麗家園，進而為實現中華民族的偉大復興，付出一份力量。
主題：圖說中華文化故事

周功鑫教授在臺北故宮工作三十餘年。2012 年7 月，她辭去故宮院長職務，卸任後，依然利用在故宮工作中所累積的經驗，不遺餘力地持續推廣中華文化。為了使更多青少年瞭解和傳承中華文化，她主編了《圖說中華文化故事》叢書，不僅是首部以成語為媒介推廣中華文化的書籍，同時提供了多層次知識，可用於青少年不同成長階段的學習和參考。除成語篇外，周功鑫教授未來還將編寫出版人物篇，使讀者們從歷史的脈絡中，認識中國歷代的歷史發展、文化特質、生活美學及藝術風尚等。《圖說中華文化Online》已於2018 年11 月在微信小程式，並將於2019 年7 月在APP 上推出，希望利用網絡科技的多元技術及豐富資訊容量，透過生動、有趣的動畫、圖像等多媒體設計及與社交媒體的結合，在互聯網效益下，向全球人士，尤其青少年推廣中華文化。

任何2D作品（包括MARKER筆、水彩、油畫等）及電腦繪畫作品均可參加

頒獎日期和地點：將另行通知
參賽年齡：3-18 歲
分组：3-5 歲組，6-8 歲組，9-11 歲組，12-15 歲，16-18 歲组。
各組奖项設置：特优奖一名、一等獎二名、二等獎三名、三等獎四名選手，獲獎者均可獲得獎盃和獎狀。
對組織、指導這次活動頒發較大的組織、機構和老師頒發“海外中華文化傳承貢獻獎”，並爲每一位參賽選手頒發“中華文化傳承獎”。

There is no doubt Chinese culture will continue to be important in the future. Chinese people are proud of our culture and can work together to share the beautiful history with people around the world. For this competition, please select any Chinese idiom (成語) and illustrate your unique interpretation of the idiom.

Authorized by: Professor Gongxin Zhou, former president of the National Palace Museum of Taiwan
After retiring as the former president of the National Palace Museum of Taiwan, Professor Gongxin Zhou wrote and created the Illustrations of Stories of Chinese Culture圖說中華文化book series to promote Chinese culture, especially to more young people. The books use Chinese idioms to tell stories about Chinese culture for readers of all ages.
To go along with the books, Professor Gongxin Zhou created Illustrations of Chinese Culture Online. This is a Mini Program, available on WeChat since November 2018, that uses interactive animations, images, games, and other multimedia designs to share Chinese culture to people around the world. To access, learn more, and experience the content, please search and follow 圖說中華文化Online on WeChat. More content will be coming in July of 2019. Check it out!
Award Categories: Divided by Age Group, Ages 3-5 years old, Ages 6-8 years old, Ages 9-11 years old, Ages 12-15 years old, and Ages 16-18 years old.
In every age category there will be: First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Honorable Mention. There will also be individual awards for: Most Creative, Most Colorful, Best Composition, Best Technique, and more. The organizers and all of the teachers hosting this event will award the “Overseas Chinese Cultural Heritage Contribution Award,” and they will also award each participant with the “Sharing Chinese Cultural Heritage Award.”
All types of works accepted. Not limited to children's paintings, Chinese painting, gouache, watercolor, sketching, line drawing, oil painting, printmaking, paper cutting, etc.
